It's a trap! Seriously I work for DG and it is a mess. Managers work six days a week on salary and receive no over time some work up to 60 + a week and don't get a cent of overtime. They send you to other stores and claim to pay your gas which can take up to a month to receive if you receive at all. You take on the responsibility of doing multiple jobs at once, if your a key you do all jobs including manager work which your still not paid as a manager to do.  Where I'm from a cashier is paid 7.25 an hour at DG , Walmart pays there's 10 an hour. The District manager is a joke an he can only hire and fire so you get stuck working with a bunch of lazy people who get away with it and if you work , you get yelled at for it, cause its on you to Work. But yea DG employement a trap. Better to go else where I haven't even touched the surface of all the BS that goes on there.
